Early Head Start Child Care Partnership

Give your child the very best start in life with Early Head Start. How your child learns, moves, and interacts with others during the first three years of life has a lasting effect on that child’s development. Early Head Start Child Care Partnerships works with child care teachers and parents to support your child’s physical, social, emotional and intellectual development to ensure they are ready for school. Early Head Start provides educational activities, medical and dental referral services, nutritious meals, and self-reliance services for the entire family.

  • FREE Parenting Class: All enrolled families have an opportunity to attend a free parenting class taught by our highly trained staff.
  • Active Parenting: First Five years is a research-based parenting class where you will learn about your child’s development, building a strong bond, using mindfulness to keep your cool, effective discipline young children can understand, choices and consequences, and much more.

Child Development

All of the Early Head Start Partnership teachers have a Child Development Associates (CDA) degree. They use The Creative Curriculum for Infants, Toddlers and Twos to help your child grow and learn through play.

You will receive weekly child development activities to support your child’s growth and learning at home. You will also receive a child development report card 3 times per year to show you the progress your child is making.

Health Services

Nothing is more important than your child’s health. We will support you in helping your child receive regular medical and dental check-ups. We can also help you find free or affordable services near you.

Parent Committee meetings give the families an opportunity to voice their opinions, make decisions about the activities for the program, and develop leadership skills.
